About this ebook

Lawyers. Stefanie Amor’s had enough of them to last a lifetime. One left her heartbroken, the other left her in bed and did a runner. But as the witness in a murder case, she’s got no choice but to cooperate with defence attorney Oliver Rhodes, a great white shark who gets his kicks from chewing up lesser mortals and spitting out their sorry remains.

Oliver has two passions in life: money and winning. Stefanie’s a shiny new toy he’s not supposed to have, pretty to look at but so easy to break. Playtime’s fun, but what happens when the game isn’t a game anymore?

Rhodium is a standalone novel in the Blackwood Elements series and tells the tale of two side characters from White Hot. It’s a pure romance novel—there’s no suspense in this one! Oh, and it’s dirty ;)

Another Amazing Blackwood Elements Book!!! Elise Noble does it again! Rhodium is heavy on the romance with hot and steamy sex scenes and enough disasters that make you think Stephanie may be cursed. She and Oliver, a great white shark of a lawyer, would make a great couple, except she considers him her fourth disaster and he refuses to have a “normal” relationship. Both Stephanie and Oliver are scarred by their pasts, but must work together on a legal case to get Stephanie’s best friend’s killer in prison. NOTE: Rhodium is Blackwood ELEMENTS book 4 and NOT a Blackwood Security series book. Some of the Blackwood Security characters, like Emmy, Bradley and Dan make brief appearances, yet it is a complete standalone novel that focuses on Stephanie and Oliver’s attempt at a relationship. There is much less action, violence and cussing than in the Blackwood Security series books, but it is just as enjoyable... just a bit different, which it why it is a Blackwood Elements book. I love how Elise intertwines the Blackwood Security characters into her Blackwood Elements books!!! Scott Lowe (from her Trouble Series), Ishmael (from Red Alert), and Ethan/Ghost (from White Hot, where Stephanie & Oliver first meet) get mentioned! Rhodium is a smoking hot, sexy, romance book that is hard to put down! As with all of Elise’s other books, I’d give Rhodium 10 stars if I could! Standalone novel with a HEA and NO Cliffhanger! You may want to read White Hot (Blackwood Security Book #9) before or after you read Rhodium to get more of Stephanie’s back story.

Rhodium picks up where White Hot ends (so I would recommend reading this first in order to get the full understanding of the references to what happened I White Hot). The main characters in Rhodium are Stefanie and Oliver from White Hot getting their own story focusing on their relationship. Since they are not main Blackwood characters the story is less action packed than other stories in the series, but it fully makes up for it with a high level of steaminess. And there is guest appearances by other Blackwood members as well as Riverley as the story evolves making the people and environment surrounding the story very familiar. Once again Elise uses her skills as a writer to make the story and characters come alive with humor, heat and romance. Once again I found myself unable to put the book down until my eyes started closing on their own account. Another must read from Elise Noble

One of my favourite books of the series. I love how filthy Oliver is. I was expecting Gideon to be the dirty one but was pleasantly surprised by Olivers secret side. Loved the continuation from White Hot and all the drama with Stephanies family. As usual, Elise has the perfect combination of mystery, suspense, romance, and sexy with an amazingly written storyline. Another great instalment in the Blackwood/Elements/UK series. Elise is the gift that keeps on giving with her books. I can't get enough.
