Why would I want to buy direct?

If you want to own your ebooks and audiobooks, buying direct is the best option. When you “buy” from the big retailers (Amazon, etc), what you get is a license to read the content. If the store goes bust (unlikely, but possible, looking at you Sony store), then your books are no longer available. Buying direct means that can’t happen. You get the actual file, plus you can still use the awesome BookFunnel app to read/listen – kind of like using the Kindle app but without endless ads.
The BookFunnel app also includes a full-featured audiobook player – just enter the code you receive after purchase and your audiobook will magically appear in your library 🙂

Paperbacks
If you spend over £75 in my store, I’ll send you a free swag pack that includes signed bookplates 🖤 Plus (personal opinion), the quality of the printer I use is better than others I’ve tried, and they know how to package stuff properly rather than tossing it into an oversized box and drop-kicking it across the warehouse (unlike a certain river-related retailer 😬).
Paperbacks are sent by BookVault, my printing partner. They have facilities in the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia, so they can avoid the dreaded US tariffs on paperbacks and send things faster than I can.
But what about signed copies and merch, Elise? Where did they go?
Unfortunately, since the US introduced an ever-changing list of tariffs and the EU brought in a whole reel of red tape (GSPR, packaging regs, additional customs charges, blah blah blah), I can no longer ship outside of the UK because dealing with all of this makes me cry.
I’ll offer signed copies and bookish goodies to UK-based readers periodically. When they’re available, I’ll let folks know via my newsletter and social media channels 😁
