ARC Team FAQs…
What is an ARC?
ARC = Advance reader copy. Reviews are super important for authors, and ARC readers receive a free copy of the book before the release date in order to share their thoughts.
Where should I review?
You can choose! You might want to post about the book on social media, or add it to your bookshelf on Goodreads, Bookbub, or Storygraph. Or you can review at one of the retailer sites – Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, or Smashwords.
What if I don't like the book? Do I still have to review it?
Not if you don't want to. I totally understand that not everyone will love every one of my books. But if you still want to receive future future ARCS, I just ask that you let me know the book wasn't your cup of tea. If you're not reviewing and I don't hear from you, I assume you're no longer interested in being on the team.
Do I have to review every book?
No! Folks are busy, and life gets in the way. You only sign up for the books you want to read – I have an individual sign-up form for each release.
What if I don't know what to write?
You can find some hints on writing a review here. I also include pre-made graphics in case you want to use them for social media.
Blackwood Timeline
All of my books with the exception of the Black Trilogy and the Emerald Trilogy are written as standalones, but if you need a reminder of the full Blackwood timeline, you can find that HERE.
