How to Install the Kobo App on a Kindle Fire

If you have an Apple or an Android device, simply download the Kobo app from your app store.

If you have a Kindle and want to try the Kobo app, follow the instructions below. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on Paperwhites.

1. Kindle Settings
2. Search for “Install unknown apps”
3. Select Silk Browser and allow it to download unknown apps.
4. Open Silk Browser
5. Search for the following depending on if you’re in the US or UK (if you’re in another country, replace the country code in one of these links)

kobo.com/us/en/p/apps
kobo.com/uk/en/p/apps

Once installed, the Kobo icon will be added to your apps. Sign in with your Kobo account (or make one).
